for the following articles: bed goods made of cotton, polyester, polyamide, viscose or maize fibres (also in mixture), filled with polyester material, PU foam material respectively maize fibre parts (Ingeo) as far as pillows and coffered covers, filled with geese downs an/or quills, quilts and pillows made of warp-knitted plush (100 % wool) and new wool for filling material as far as mattresses linings made of 100 % polyester (knitted spacer fabric), exclusively made of material certified with Öko-Tex. The analysis of the above mentioned articles was done according to Öko-Tex Standard 100, product class II (products which will have contact to the skin). The result was that the actually valid demands of the standard are fulfilled. The certified articles fulfil the demands of the existing European legislation regarding the use of azo pigments. Towards the institute the holder of the certificate committed with a conformity declaration according to EN 45014 that only products conforming the analysed patterns will be labelled with the Öko-Tex signet. |
